Each year, Southern Hills Mall will contribute a preset amount of funds in the form of Visa® Gift Cards, merchandise and use of our property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations, education programs, food banks, foundations, hospitals and healthcare organizations, youth programs, performing arts and museums, and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully and thoroughly. However, not all requests can be granted. Please submit your request to:

Request date
Name of your organization
A description of how the gift will be used
The date the donation is needed

Largest Collection of Original Lewis and Clark murals stretches 296 feet in length and is comprised of 38 different scenes--each depicting major milestones from the expedition. Split Rock Studios Senior Artist--Geoff Elson--painted this exhibit as a storyboard of the entire expedition. The scenes flow in both geographical and chronological order.

The Lewis & Clark Fort is open from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m. (Only children under 42 inches in height are allowed to play in the play area and no shoes.)

Show Siouxland Soldiers that you support them by helping Support Siouxland Soldiers, a registered non-profit organization, complete care packages that will be sent to our deployed soldiers, stateside or abroad. Do you know a soldier that has been deployed? Register them to receive care-packages from the Siouxland community. No matter what branch of the military or whether they are in-county or across seas, we want to share a taste of home with them. Support Siouxland Soldiers sends out over 200 care packages every month and are in desperate need of items to fill these so gather any or all of the items listed and drop them off at Guest Services in the Cafe Court of the Southern Hills Mall, any Security National Bank location, or South Sioux City's City Hall. Soldiers appreciate anything that reminds them of home after being deployed for any amount of time. Below is a list of the most popular items soldiers like to receive the most. Please no aerosol cans or home-made goods, thank you. If you wish to give a monetary donation, please make checks payable to Support Siouxland Soldiers. Thank you for your support!
